DeMotte has a public library, a branch of the Jasper County Public Library. Covenant Christian High School and DeMotte Christian School (Pre-school through 8th grade) are located in DeMotte. In 1940, DeMotte Christian School was organized by a group of parents from the First Christian Reformed Church of DeMotte.
